Yunji Spring, as early as the Yuan Dynasty has been famous. The great poet sadula of the Yuan Dynasty once traveled and wrote poems praising the spring as if it flew straight down from the clouds, hence the name "Yunji Spring". Feng Yunxiang, a famous scholar in The Qing Dynasty and a native of Daizhou, had left four poems titled "Spring Pavilion at Yunji Of Yanmen", which are now engraved beside the spring.
